Helen Halpine

Helen M. (Gentry) Halpine, 84, of Alexander, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home. She was a homemaker and wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was the love of her life and she devoted her every moment to being sure they were happy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie M. Halpine Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Sugg (Rick); three sons, Mike Halpine Jr. (Vickie), Roy Halpine (LeAnna) and Ronnie Halpine (Carla); nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Rickey Sugg, Randy Sugg, Michael Halpine, Mitchell Wise, Jordan Haley, Bradley Brown, Alex Haney, Beau Shilling, Dalton Shilling and Shane Kirkham. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 17 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 18 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
