Berna Sue Mash Leggett, 61, of Conway, Arkansas, was born September 14, 1952, at Beebe, Arkansas to Bernard and Wilma Dean (Dove) Mash, and she died Monday, January 20, 2014. Sue was a 1971 graduate of Beebe High School. She graduated from beauty school and barber college. She had a successful career in these occupations and was the first female State Chairman of the Barbers Association. Her career path changed by the recklessness of a drunk driver, and she then dedicated her life to her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue was a member of the Assembly of God. She is survived by her son, Jeremy (Angie) Mash of Conway; her daughter, Tamara Leggett of Judsonia; grandchildren Meghan Mash, Carley Rountree, Mystic Brittian, Hunter Brittian, and Dakota Leggett; brother James Mash of Beebe; sister Freida Mash White of Sherwood; and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made in Sue's memory to the charity of your choice. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
