Connie Marie Williams

Connie Marie Williams, 58, of Little Rock, only child of the late Earl and Freddie Williams, died at home Thursday, January 16, 2014. She was a graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Her love for the word of God led her to Rhema Bible School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was employed by the Pulaski County Assessor's Office for a number of years. Surviving to cherish her memory are three aunts, Dora Winston, Irene Smith Tillman, and Shirley Washington; one uncle, A.J. Washington; special cousin, the Rev. Michael Washington (Shelia); her closest friend, Carolyn Rucker; and a treasure chest of other cousins, family, and friends. A celebration of Connie's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 815 W. 16th Street, Little Rock, Pastor D. Lavel Crawford, Eulogist. The family will receive friends 5-6 p.m. Friday at Walton-Gateway Funeral Chapel, 2405 S. Gaines, 376-7188.
