Benart Cheatam

Benart Cheatam, 58, of West Helena, Ark. passed away January 15, 2014. The son of Willie C. and Clienix Cheatam, Bernat served three years in the US Army and retired from the NLR VA after 31 years. Benart was preceded in death by his brother Jean Autry Young and is survived by his wife of 40 years, LaWania Cheatam, three daughters; Tamala and Tonya Cheatam and Ebony (Patrick) Benett, three sisters; Willie Mae Waldon, Shirley Pope, and Lois Parker, three brothers; Robert Beaver (Alice) Cheatam; Robert Lee Cheatam, and Oliver (Cherylene) Cheatam, five grandchildren and one great grandson. Family Hour is January 24, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 120 Ashlar, Funeral Service will be at Twin City Church of Christ, Saturday, January 25, 2015 at 1 p.m., Highway 49. Burial will be at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Southland Road all in West Helena, Ark. Funeral Services directed by Jackson-Highley Funeral Home of West Helena, Ark.
