Marie Lesley Hutto

Marie Lesley Hutto, 94, of Damascus, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2014. She was born September 12, 1919 in Bee Branch, AR to the late Arthur Maude and Reedy Hardin Lesley. Marie was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ray Hutto and sister, Ima Lee Byers. Marie was a member of South Side Baptist Church of Damascus for 78 years. She taught Sunday School and Bible studies and was active in missions. Marie was also a member of the Eastern Star and Damascus Birthday Club. She was Co-owner and operator of the Ray Hutto Feed Mill in Damascus. Marie enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, and cooking, especially cooking for family gatherings and friends. Marie is survived by her two sons, Tommy Lesley Hutto (Barbara), Samuel Ray Hutto (Kay), all of Damascus, two daughters, Kathy Hutto Linn of Conway and Suzanne Hutto Clark of Harrison, grandchildren Paula Rogers, Travis Clark, Susan Woodard, Kathryn Woods, Denise Hutto, Jami Schwartz, Casey Hutto, Sancy Faulk, and Sean Hutto, 13 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Ouida Hutto Cox of Little Rock and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Southside Baptist Church in Damascus with Bro. Steve Stephens and Bro. Bill Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Branch Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Clark, Casey Hutto, Sean Hutto, Tyler Duncan, Jim Cox and Dr. Tom Cox.
