Joanne Dodge

Joanne Dodge, aged 87, formerly of the Little Rock and Fayetteville areas, passed away at her home in Lexington, Ky. on Jan. 3, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of Ervin Dane Moore and Mildred Ester Fair of Elm Springs. Joanne is survived by her husband, William Henry Dodge; a sister, Joyce Thompson (Bill); two daughters, Cynthia Dodge Hargett (David) and Karen Dodge Griesbaum (Horst); three grandchildren, Rachel Barton Graves (Scott), Emily Allison Harding, and Brian Enoch Harding (Mallory); and two great-grandchildren. After graduating from Fayetteville High School, Joanne made a 30 year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone, rising to district level management. After retirement she began an 11 year career with Rector Phillips Morse Real Estate in Little Rock. In 2007, she and her husband moved to be closer to their daughter in Lexington, Ky. Joanne was an active member of both the Unitarian Universalist Church of Little Rock and Little Rock Telephone Pioneers. Private services to be held at Oakland Fraternal Cemetery in Little Rock.
