Marie "Bug" Swan Rowe

Marie "Bug" Swan Rowe, 66, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Friday morning, Jan. 17, 2014 at the Oelwein Health Care Center in Oelwein, Iowa. Zola Marie Swan was born on July 18, 1947 at Tomberlin, Ark., the daughter of Golda William and Mildred Swan. She received her associate degree in nursing from Robert Morse College at Carthage, Ill. She was a LPN at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. and was also a teacher's aid at the Oelwein Middle School. Zola married Lee Sours on Feb. 7, 1969 at Lynwood, Calif. They are divorced. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein, Iowa. Zola enjoyed reading, fishing, cooking, hunting and family gatherings. Zola is survived by: son, John Sours of Oelwein, Iowa; grandson, Jonathan Andrew Sours of Oelwein, Iowa; two great-grandsons; three brothers, Jerry Swan of Scott, Ark., Joe Swan of Stuttgart, Ark., and Ricky Swan of England, Ark.; three sisters, Marce Bryant of Clinton, Ark., Tokey Houser of Keo, Ark., and Linda Norton of Jacksonville, Ark.; step-daughter, Karen Beyer of Woodstock, Ill.; former husband, Lee Sours of Hazleton, Iowa; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Sours; sister, Elaine Parnell; brother, Walter Swan; step-daughter, Sherril Ann Aguliara; and a nephew, Jason Swan. There will be a visitation at Roller England Funeral Home (501)842-3939 Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a graveside burial at 12 p.m. in Flynn Cemetery at Humnoke, Ark.
