Earl Lynn Vickers, 62, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at his home. Earl was born June 12, 1951, in Stuttgart to Clarence Eldon and Deloris Hagan Vickers who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Bradley High School and was an U.S. Army veteran. He was a truck insurance agent with Dill Brothers Insurance, a subsidiary of Triangle Insurance, and member of Oak Forest Methodist Church in Little Rock, Twin Bayou Hunting Club and Lakeside Country Club. Earl loved to hunt and take trips on his motorcycle, but most of all, he was a man who loved life and loved his family, especially his grandchildren who held a special place in his heart. Survivors are his daughters, Ashley Jones (A.J.) of Stuttgart and Sara Pool (Danny) and Jyl Rogers (Jackson) of North Little Rock; his son, Dustin Vickers of Malvern; brother, Neal Vickers of Mountain View; sister, Donna Jackson of Hot Springs; and four grandchildren, Conner Jones, Luke Pool, Owen Pool and Emmy Rogers. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Larry Bishop, are 2 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home.
