Donald Ray Moore, Lt. USN, Ret 74, of Damascus, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was born April 7, 1939 in Fulton, Mississippi to the late Ezell R. and Alice A. (Malone) Moore. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War, he was proud of his country. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Alice Candice Moore of the home, two sons, Darrell Moore of South Lake Tahoe, Nev.; and Devin Moore of Windsor, Calif.; daughter, Laura Jones of Riddle, Ore.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Ann McCullough of Sebastian, Fla.; one brother, David Allen Moore of Woodleaf, N.C.; and friends. Honorary Pallbearers: David Allen Moore, James R. Ennis, Clay Mason, Roger Mason, and Bruce Mason. Graveside Service and Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Blackwell Cemetery Bee Branch, Arkansas with U.S. Navy Military Honors.
