Betty J. Allen

Betty J. Allen, age 76, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at the St. Vincent Hospice Faculty in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Mrs. Allen was born November 19, 1937 in Hope, Arkansas, to Guy and Joyce Willis Stevens. Mrs. Allen worked for a number of years with the Lafayette County Extension Service as a Home Economist. She was a longtime member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Stamps, Arkansas. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Carrol Allen and parents. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Allen and wife, Cletauis of Stamps, Ark. and Guy Allen and wife, Amy of Arkadelphia, Ark.; one daughter, Penny Allen of Arkadelphia, Ark.; five grandchildren; brother-in-law, Mac Allen and sister, Sarah Burns both of Stamps, Ark.
