Myrtice H. Berry

Myrtice H. Berry, age 83, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Helena, Arkansas. Mrs. Berry was born March 23, 1931 at Blackton, Arkansas to the late Lewis Burton Hollowell and the late Doris Lofton Hollowell. She is survived by four sons, Jerry Berry (Donna) of Bryant, Arkansas, Reverend Joe Berry (Mary) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Randy Berry (Sheila) of Stonewall, Louisiana, and Mark Berry (Pat) of Sheridan, Arkansas; one daughter, Cathy Johnston (Larry) of West Helena; ten grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Norma Wood of Hempsted, North Carolina and Kathleen Drollinger of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Harold Hollowell of St. Pete, Florida; and adopted family members, Brookie and Jody Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Reverend Denver Berry; her parents; and a grandson, David Berry. A service for Myrtice Berry will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at West Acres Baptist Church in West Helena. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Marvell Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas.
