Barbara Jean Edwards 68, of Little Rock, Ark., was called home June 29, 2014. She was born and raised in Little Rock, Ark.
Preceded in death by: husband, Robert D. Edwards, Sr.; son, Broderick D. Shavis; her parents, Beatrice Gardiner Thomas Tyson & Fred F. Tyson; and four siblings. She is honored in memory by her children, Ricky Tyson, Regina Edwards-Record, Alan Tyson, Andrea Allen, Luciana Edwards & Robert Edwards Jr.; her siblings and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul MBC, 2603 Commerce St., Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery. Visitation services will be held Sunday, July 6, 2014, 5-6 pm, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
