Margaret Marie Selman

MARGARET MARIE SELMAN, 96, of North Little Rock went to be with her eternal Father on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Marie was born on Aug. 19, 1917, near Fordyce, Ark. She was a very devout Christian who was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose abounding love for the Lord was apparent in every aspect of her life. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, cooking, reading her Bible, and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Waymon Selman; parents, Andy and Dolly Pennington; and her two siblings, Aubrey Pennington and Reba Faulk. She is survived by her son, Ben Selman; two grandchildren, Laurabeth Sanchez and Matthew Selman; and three great-grandsons, Kameron, Daniel and Paul Dylan. Memorials may be made to Unity Missionary Baptist, 1223 Garfield, Little Rock, Ark. 72204. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
