Harry Joe Ritchie

Harry Joe Ritchie, 73, of Hampton died Sunday, July 7, 2014 at Life Touch Hospice House in El Dorado. He was born July 20, 1940 in Camden, Arkansas. Joe was owner and operator of Ritchie Roofing for over 35 years. He loved the Lord and his church family at Happy Home Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Murry (Bud) Ritchie and Lucille Avant Ritchie; son, James Hamilton Ritchie; brothers, Tom, Jim and Jerry Ritchie; sisters, Sue Ritchie, Betty Jean Dunn, Carolyn Jacobs, Bobby Ann Carter, and Mildred Namer; stepchildren, Eddie and Diane Wisinger. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ritchie of Hampton; son, Joe Jack Ritchie (Kathy), Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Kelly Gonzales (Chris) of California; two grandchildren, Kassidy and Robert Ritchie; one great-grandchild, Karsyn Ritchie; six step-children, Les Wisinger of Natchez, Miss.; Cindy Wisinger, of Rose Bud, Debbie Dillard (Mac) of Saratoga; Billy Martin of Brighton, Colo., Wendy Nutt (Floyd) of Hampton, Leah Atwell (Randy) of El Dorado; eight step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice 2301 Champagnolle Road El Dorado, AR 71730. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at Happy Home Assembly of God Church in Hampton with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev. Monroe Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery.
