Lucille G. Johnson

Lucille "Luci" G. Johnson, born August 19, 1922 in Bristol, Tenn. to parents Jacob Wesley and Ada Bell Grimes passed away July 5, 2014 at a local hospital. Luci is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 42 years James Robert Johnson Jr., one son Robert Wesley Johnson, sister Thelma Harper and brother Arlie Grimes, one niece and two nephews. Luci is survived by one daughter Judy Johnson Koch (Bill) of Cabot, Ark.; one sister, Sarah Grimes Jonas of Auberndale, Fla., three grandchildren, Robb Watts (Melanie) of Brookland, Ark., Anissa Northey and Wes Johnson of Texas and 10 great-grandchildren. Luci was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bristol, TN and a long time member of the Easter Star and a Beta Sigma Phi member. Luci also known as MaMere and GiGi was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother will be greatly missed by all who loved and appreciated her. Visitation will be held on July 8, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., N.L.R., Ark. from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. July 9, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
