William Allen Tipton

William Allen Tipton, 88, of Cabot died Monday, July 7, 2014. He was born October 15, 1925 in England to the late William Mack and Frances Arbell Henderson Tipton. Mr. Tipton was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. In 1968, Mr. Tipton retired after 25 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Mr. Tipton is survived by his wife, Evelyn Juanita Tipton; his children, Tommy Tipton, Darel Tipton, Doris Belden and husband, Dennis, Barry Tipton and wife, Julia and Tim Tipton; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
