Louise Thornton Hutchins

Louise Thornton Hutchins, 92, of Jacksonville went to sleep and woke up in Heaven on July 10, 2014. She was born in McCrory, Arkansas on April 13, 1922 to the late Jesse and Georgia Lou Sumler. She was preceded in death by all seven of her brothers and sisters and their spouses and her parents. She is survived by her children; Lonnie (Kathy) Thornton of North Little Rock, Ann (Curtis) Lucas of Jacksonville, Brenda (Jim) Bumpus of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, and her special companion, a Jack Russell Terrier named Georgia Girl. A special thanks to Deana Papetti, her friend and caregiver, and Baptist Springhill Medical Center 3C. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
