Ora Faulkner Bunch

Rev. Ora Faulkner Bunch, of Little Rock, Ark., peacefully passed this life on Wednesday July 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Bunch. She was born November 18, 1917 to the late Thomas and Ella Coleman of Wabbaseka, Ark. In 1937 she married Mr. Eddie Bunch and they had one daughter Ora Eddye Bunch. Mrs. Bunch attended attended AM&N College (UAPB) Pine Bluff, Ark. and graduated cum laude in 1956 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. Continuing at University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She received a Master of Education degree in elementary studies. Mrs. Ora Bunch began teaching in Little Rock Public School District and after completing 23 successful teaching years she retired in 1979. In 1977, Mrs. Bunch was called into the childhood Evangelistic Ministry responding to God's call in 1979 and preaching her first sermon in 1980. She lived her life as an example of what God's love is truly about. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Ora E. Bunch, three grandsons Derek B. Bunch, Shawnathon D. Fitch, and Eddie F. Dockery, five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be today, July 11, 2014 from 12 til 1 p.m. with funeral services beginning promptly at 1 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 815 W. 16th St., Little Rock, Ark.
