Ruth Christine Trigg, 87, of Sherwood, Ark., formerly of Flint, Mich., died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Ark. The daughter of Jasper and Ethel L Bowden Coffman, she was born November 3, 1926 in Hector, Ark. She was a housewife where she raised seven children. Christine enjoyed cake decorating, quilting, sewing, fishing, metal detecting and canning.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years. William Henry Trigg; son, William Kieth Trigg; three grandsons, Dylan George, Ryan Wilbanks, Nathan Wilbanks; six brothers and one sister. Survivors include six children, Reta Yarnold (Richard) of Sherwood, Beverly Wilbanks of Sherwood, Vicki George (Johnny) of Danville, Bruce Trigg of Linden, MI, Michele Miller (Mark) of Sherwood, Kevin Trigg (Kristen) of Sherwood; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Wathena Williams of Atkins, Vera Epperson of Morrilton and Louise Tucker of Atkins.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Ricky Kimzey will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector, Ark. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, at the funeral home.
