Kathryn Jeanette Poyner

Mrs. Kathryn Jeanette Poyner, age 69, of Bald Knob, Arkansas, passed away on July 17, 2014 at her home. Born March 4, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edith Mowbray Heckel. Mrs. Poyner was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by four daughters: Dawn Eason-Ward and husband Steve of Searcy, Arkansas, Mary Bonds of Austin, Texas, Patricia Castelli and husband Jim of Wichita Falls, Texas and Kelly Scott and husband Michael of Manila, Arkansas; two brothers: David Heckel and Richard Heckel both of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters: Ellen Akehurst of Baltimore, Maryland and Norma Sevick of Delaware; grandchildren: Kayla Kerr, Haley Eason, Justin Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell, Seth Shockey and Jacqueline Scott. Mrs. Poyner also leaves several great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Poyner. Memorial services will be August 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Searcy, Arkansas for family and friends under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
