Mrs. Barbara Jean (Bryant) Inlow, age 73 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Arlington, Texas. She was born in Amity, Arkansas on Tuesday, December 17, 1940 to Floyd and Lottie Still Bryant. Mrs. Inlow is retired from Harvest Foods, a home maker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Hope. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Grady Inlow.
Barbara attended and graduated from Amity High School in Amity, Arkansas. Barbara met husband, Grady at the local skating ring, where he swept her off her feet. She was attending nursing school when she met Grady and because you could not marry while in nursing school, her and Grady secretly got married on February 2, 1960 in Hot Springs. They managed to keep it a secret for four weeks. Barbara was a home maker who worked various jobs to help support her family and put all of her girls through college and never tired of bragging on them. She was a very proud, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She taught her family all there was to know about leading a happy and fulfilled life. We loved her dearly and always will.
