Patsy Nelline Taylor Glover, age 79, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs on Monday, July 28, after a battle with cancer. Born July 9, 1935, in Rye, Arkansas, to Leroy and Doris Blair Taylor, Patsy was an excellent student, talented piano player, and beloved Sunday School teacher. She attended Woodlawn Schools and graduated from Warren High School in 1953 where she sang in the choir and played saxophone in the band. She attended Henderson State University. Patsy and Arnis Glover were married July 24, 1954 and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Patsy was a stay at home mother to two children, Myra (Kim) Crutchfield and Thomas (Dian) Glover. After the children were in high school, she received her real estate license and operated Glover Realty with her husband for 40 years. Patsy taught Sunday School for over sixty years and played the piano and organ at several churches. She was part of the ladies auxiliary, participated in many bible schools, and assisted in the organization of the Women's Conference at Center Fork Baptist Church in Hot Springs. She was a graduate of Faith Bible Institute and was a local director for the FBI program for Center Fork for eight years. Patsy put together several family recipe cookbooks as well as assisted her husband in a detailed history of the Glover family. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and piano lessons to young people. Patsy and Arnis are grandparents to Ty (Holly) Crutchfield, Dustin (Katie) Glover, Haven Crutchfield, and Zach Glover. They are great grandparents to Noah and Evan Crutchfield and one on the way. She is survived by her family, her brother Royce (Mary Frances) Taylor, her aunt Maxine Blair and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Lynn Baxter, and Bro. Roger Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Fork Youth Fund, 1101 South Moore Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901.
