Glenda Jean Milks went home to the good Lord on June 3, 2014. She was born on October 19, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Glenwood Lee and Jean Linder Holt. Her mother described her as a joyful baby, a nature that she carried with her all her life. She used that joy to entertain and put smiles on everyone's faces, leading her to be voted Most Talented by her high school class. Undoubtedly, her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and was actively involved in the PTA and Sunday School. The only thing that gave her greater joy than motherhood was becoming a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her entire world, and she was theirs. She was the greatest listener, kindest soul, and most ferocious catch-phrase player and charades actor this world has ever known. She will be loved, missed, and forever treasured by a countless many. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Terry Holt and is survived by her daughter, Ashley Davis and husband Harold, her son, John David Milks and wife Terri, grandsons, Clinton Davis and wife Heather, Jackson Milks and Gage Milks, granddaughters, Stephanie Davis and Ella Reese Jean Milks, her brothers, Jeff Holt and wife Krystal, Mitch Holt and wife Rebecca, Mike Holt and wife Jodie, and sisters, Diane Holt and Becky Rogers and husband Randy, eight nieces and nephews and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
