Roosevelt Watson Sr.

Deacon Roosevelt Watson, Sr. of Little Rock, Ark. departed this life on Friday, June 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by both parents; two siblings and one daughter, Barbara Shumake. He worked at the VA hospital until 1980 after serving 27 years as a nurse assist. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife of 67 years, Bernice Stanley Watson; four children, Roosevelt Watson Jr., Rose (Douglas) Jones and Kenneth Watson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving relatives and special friends. Home going services will be Saturday, June 14, 2014, 11 a.m. at Mt. Araratt Baptist Church, 5417 Valentine Road, North Little Rock, Ark.
