Robert Jackson Bailey

Robert Jackson Bailey, age 84, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was born December 22, 1929 in Siloam Springs. Robert was an architectural engineer and a graduate of John Brown University. During the Korean War he was responsible for drawing the DMZ, the line which separated North and South Korea. Bob was a kind, humble, gentle, and compassionate Christian man. He loved to dance and was a father to many. His life was his kids and his work. He is survived by three sons; Rok Bailey, Brad Bailey, and Matt Bailey, his daughter; Julie Bailey, one sister; Wanda Reynolds, one grandchild, Ilia Bailey McNeal (Aaron) and her mother, Rebecca. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rupert and Lela Bell (Pence) Bailey, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300 with burial to follow at Oakland Fraternal Cemetery, 2101 Barber Ave., Little Rock, (501) 372-6429.
