Mary Ann Hill Mott, of Little Rock, passed away June 14, 2014 after suffering for years with Alzheimer's. She was 91 years old, born August 22, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of D.B. and Anna Hill. She was the loving and devoted wife of Charles B. Mott Jr. for 62 years. Ann, as she was known, is survived by her husband Charles and by her four children, Becky Farrow and husband Jackson, Debbie Mickel, Charles Mott III and wife Anne, David Mott and wife Tracy, nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, a sister, Sarah Jane Cooper and husband Ed, and a brother, Charles W. Hill and wife Annis. Ann was predeceased by an older brother, D.B. Hill Jr. and her son-in-law, Delbert Mickel. After graduating from Little Rock High School, Ann attended Mary Baldwin for two years, transferred and graduated from the University of Texas. She was a lifelong active member of 2nd Presbyterian Church serving as a Deacon, an Elder, and participated in the work of various ministries over the years. She was a regular participant in a Fellowship Bible study for over 12 years and an active member of Presbyterian Women prior to becoming ill over thirteen years ago. We will always cherish our memories of the loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother we lost years ago to the cruel disease that robbed all of us the joy of being together in her twilight years. Memorial service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2nd Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas. Family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to 2nd Presbyterian Church Little Rock.
