Bessie Mae Martin

Bessie Mae Martin 97, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed peacefully on June 12, 2014. Her loving survivors include: a dedicated cousin and caregiver as devoted as a daughter, Shirley Davis (James), North Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Jaime Harris (Gregory) Memphis, Tenn., Brian Davis (DeNotria) Edmond, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Gregory Harris Jr., Brian Davis II, Brayden Davis; two cousins who were like nieces, Beulah Terry, Chicago, Ill. and Betty J. Cunningham, North Little Rock, Ark. and a host of other relatives and loving friends. Home going services will be on Saturday, June 21, 2014, 11 a.m., at Eighth Street Baptist Church, 821 Hickory Street, North Little Rock, Ark. 72114. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, 7102 West 12th Street, Little Rock 72204. Visitation: Friday, June 20, 2014, 6–7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 S.
