Jeanne D'Orsay Holland

Jeanne D'Orsay Bono Holland, 88, of Jacksonville, Ark., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday June 15, 2014. Jeanne was born in Little Rock, Ark. to John Talbat Bono and Myrl Ray Middleton on May 20, 1926. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1943 and worked as a secretary at Crane Company. She married the love of her life, Thomas Jefferson Holland, on April 5, 1947. One of her most memorable wedding gifts was a water heater from her bosses at Crane Company. They honeymooned at the Petit Jean Mountain Mather Lodge. She was a loving wife and mother, and raised three wonderful sons Jeanne was an active member of Park Hill Christian Church. She loved farming, going to the "deer woods" and being with her family. Jeanne was a very special lady to so many and will be deeply missed. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, John Talbat Bono and Myrl Ray Middleton, her husband, Thomas Jefferson Holland, and one son, Stephen Holland, brother John C. Bono, sister, Evelyn Bono. Jeanne is survived by her sons, Larry Holland (Sally) of Jacksonville, Ark.; David Holland (Kathi) of Cabot, Ark.; daughter in-law, Linda Holland of Memphis, Tenn.; one nephew Bruce (Holly) Sartwell of Laurel, Md.; six grandchildren, Ashley Meredith (David) of Kiln, Miss.; Michael Holland (Carrye) of Memphis, Tenn.; Jeff Holland of Memphis, Tenn.; Amber Duch (Stephen) of Sherwood, Ark.; Kelli Enlow (Jessie) of Cabot, Ark.; Lacy Holland of Cabot, Ark.; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Rest Hills Funeral Home in Sherwood, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 18, 2014 at Park Hill Christian Church in North Little Rock, Ark. Burial will follow at the Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood, Ark.
