Laura Glynadean Thomas, 91, of Stuttgart went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2014. Glynadean was born March 17, 1923, in Tichnor, Arkansas to Jack and Odelia Nowlin. She married Stanley Thomas in 1943. Stanley and Glynadean opened the Pam Pam Drive Inn in 1946. In 1966, the Pam Pam became a Private Supper Club until 2008. She was known for her steaks, hash browns Pam Pam dressing, and her "Famous Punch." She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Stanley Thomas. Survivors are her sister, Joan Childs of Farmington, Maine; Son Derik Thomas and daughter, Rikki Wright of Stuttgart; four grandchildren; Joe Wright II (Sarah), Laura Saffell (Jason), Dustin Thomas, and Aaron Thomas all of Stuttgart; three great-grandchildren. Visitation is June 18, 2014 at Turpin Funeral Home from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. officiated by Pastor David Bush. The burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery. The memorials are requested to be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1307 W. 4th Stuttgart, Ark. 72160 or at the donor's choice.
