Madeline Bolt Gerloff, 58, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. She was born October 26, 1955 in Houston, Texas to the late Lois M. and Ted R. Bolt and raised by her grandmother, Ava Bolt. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, John B. Gerloff, Jr.; one son, Joshua R. Gerloff of Conway, Arkansas; two sisters, Ticia A. Bolt of Little Rock and Marilyn Baker of Benton; one brother, Carl C. Bolt of Benton; as well as her nieces, Amber Jimerson, Jenny Baker, Gina Jimerson, and Ashley Hilton; nephews, Brian Baker and Michael Jimerson; and many great nieces, nephews, and close friends. Madeline worked as a Pharmacy Assistant for Kruses North Town Pharmacy in Houston, Texas for 19 years before becoming a full-time, stay-at-home mom. Madeline was of the Baptist faith, had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was baptized at the campgrounds in Benton, Arkansas. After returning to Benton, Arkansas to continue raising her son, Joshua, through school, she spent many hours every day preparing wonderful meals for her family, relatives, and many dear friends. Madeline will be truly and deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral service officiated by Rev. Eddie Kitchens will be Friday, June 20th, 2 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Ark. 72015. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
