Michelle Berky Huddleston

Michelle Berky Huddleston, of Little Rock, died tragically in a car accident on June 15, 2014. She was born January 9, 1954 to Dr. John and Helen Berky. Michelle graduated from Our Lady of the Holy Souls School, Mount St. Mary Academy, and the University of Central Arkansas. She was a devoted teacher beginning at Little St. Mary's, and later at Our Lady of the Holy Souls School where she taught the children of her former students by request. She derived great pleasure watching her students excel. Michelle was a devoted daughter and caregiver to her invalid mother for the last 8 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, the Altar Society and was a co-director of the extended care program. She was a member of Westside Ladies Bowling League at Professor Bowl. She also enjoyed following the Arkansas Razorback Football Team, and spending quality time with her grandchildren, Jace and Taryn Huddleston. She is survived by her parents, Dr. John and Helen Berky of Hot Springs; her beloved children, John Huddleston and Regina Huddleston of Little Rock; her brother, Mark Berky (Lynn) of Jonesboro; her sister, Jackie Connell of Longview, Texas; her grandchildren, Jace and Taryn Huddleston of Alexander; and by her pet, Rascal. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, at 6 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Souls Church, Fr. Erik Pohlmeier as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Our Lady of the Holy Souls School, 1003 N.
