Orlin P. West, 96 of Dumas, Ark. died June 20, 2014. He was born Feb. 10, 1918 in Little Garnett (Lincoln County) Ark. He was the son of the late William T. West and Nora Estelle Keahey West. He was member of the First Baptist Church, member of Red Fork Hunting Club, American Legion and was a Master Mason. Mr. West was a Veteran of the Army in World War II. Mr. West also retired from the United States Postal Service.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie West, Dumas; one son, Douglas and daughter-in-law Peggy West; two grandsons, Jonathan (Wendy) West, Dr. Andrew (Caitlin) West; and two great-grandsons, Ian and Brennan West.
Service, 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, First Baptist Church with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating followed by interment in Walnut Lake Cemetery. Memorials to First Baptist Church, 145 West Waterman, Dumas, Ark. 71639. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Ark.
