Odis J. Fulmer, 72, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, with all his loving family by his side. He was born August 10, 1941 to Holly and Frances Fleming Fulmer. He was a Pentecostal and his favorite church to go to was Faulkner Gap Community Church. He is survived by Jena Fulmer, his loving wife of 22 years; and eight siblings, Eddie Lee Cushing, Sherman Fulmer (Sandra), Geraldine Andrews (Doyle), Sue Reedy (Jim), Harlen Fulmer (Joyce), Allen Fulmer (Mary), Janice Teague (Jimmy), and Paul Fulmer (Ann). He is also survived by eight children, Linda Fulmer Droddy (George), Glenda Fulmer Sanchez, Thebia Fulmer Murphy, Dale Fulmer, Hollie Anderson (Adonte), Victor Henderson (Geneva), William Stacks, Johnny Stacks (Kari); twenty-six grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his baby sister, Lois Ann Fulmer; and daughter, Lisa Fulmer Homan; and two grandsons. Odis was retired from thirty years of work in PCSSD, as well as 23 years of other employment, making up fifty-three years of public work. Odis loved life and he loved to joke around and make people laugh. He loved his parents and he believed in the scripture "Honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long upon the earth." He was a good son. He spoke recently of how wonderful it is to be in a family who cares. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 27 at Arkansas Funeral Care. Service will be 1pm, Saturday, June 28 at Apostolic Church on Landers Road. Final resting will be at Mayflower Cemetery, Hwy. 89 East in Mayflower, Arkansas.
