HERMAN D. JENDERS, 84, of North Little Rock died Friday, June 27. He was born in North Little Rock to parents, George and Peggy Jenders who preceded him in death along with his brother, Max Jenders; sisters, Rose Nosal, Agnes Jenders, and nephew Danny Nosal. He is survived by brother, Philip Jenders; and sister, Augustine Jenders Zajac; nieces, Betty Miller, Mary Francis Sargent, Gena Calvillo, Peggy Johnston, Phyllis Declerk, Sue Balest, Debbie Rutledge; nephews, Tony Jenders, Adam Zajac, Tim Jenders; and many great-nieces; and great-nephews. Herman was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his discharge, Herman worked for Vestal Nursery, Isgrig Nursery and Capital Wholesale Florists until his retirement. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29 at 5 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel , 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 30 at: 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Dr., North Little Rock (Marche) with internment to follow in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Cemetery. Father T.J. Hart will be officiating.
