William Richard Byars, age 72, of Benton passed away June 27, 2014. He was born Jan. 6, 1942. William was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Byars and Alice Byars Polly; a brother and sister, Charles and Lola Byars.
Survivors, sister, Mary Ann (Wesley) Barnett; three nephews, Bryan (Ann) Barnett, Michael (Christy) Barnett and Johnny Byars; and five great-nieces.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Ashby's.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Hills Baptist Church. Minister will be Bro. Marcus Blakely.
