TIMOTHY PAUL LOPORTO, 56, of North Little Rock, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Born in Milwaukee, Wis. on April 21, 1956 to Francis P. and Miriam L. LoPorto, he was a 1977 graduate of Catholic High School where he also was a band member. Timothy was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where he was a lector as well as a member and elected officer of The Knights of Columbus, Council #6523. He worked in the fine jewelry industry as an independent sales representative and in the retail market where he received numerous awards over his 25 year career. Timothy loved the outdoors and spent his spare time fishing, hunting and playing golf with his many friends. He loved his family and touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by his mother, Miriam L. LoPorto, he is survived by his father, Frank P. LoPorto; brother, Salvatore LoPorto (Ann Marie) of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; sisters, Maureen Smith (Dent) of Lexington, Ky., Lisa LoPorto Epps (Larry) of Columbia, Mo., and Concetta Hall (David) of Little Rock; nieces, Faye Porbeck, Michelle and Katie Hall, Maria LoPorto and Rachel Epps; and nephew, Jimmy LoPorto. Visitation will be held tonight starting at 6 p.m. with the Rosary service starting at 7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in North Little Rock on Tuesday, July at 2 p.m. with Father Thomas Elliott officiating.
