Gary C. Sheridan

Gary C. Sheridan, 65 of Benton, Ark. passed away Feb. 28, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born Feb. 4, 1949 to the late Lawrence and Madeline Sheridan in Benton. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church and a registered nurse. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Oneida Brockway; and a grandchild. Survivors include his wife of 45 and a half years, Vivian Sheridan; son, Brian Sheridan (Christel); daughters, Melissa Farmer (Rocky) and Tiffany Jones; six grandchildren, Sydney O'Neal, Dustin O'Neal, Blakley Sheridan, Jacob Sheridan, Christian Sheridan and Anna Jones; sister, Norma Hill; brothers, Larry Sheridan, Clifton Sheridan (Jan) and Joe Sheridan (Sharon); and several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Benton with Pastor Marcus Blakley officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at the church Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Mission Builders OR Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church 1119 Alcoa Rd., Benton, Ark. 72015.
