LeRoy S. McAdams

LeRoy S. McAdams, 86 of the Roosevelt Community, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 28, 2014. He was born on June 4, 1927 to Jess and Bettie McAdams. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Carolyn Sharp; one brother, John Henry McAdams; and one sister, Fern Williams. He is survived by his wife, Emogene McAdams of 62 years; one daughter, Kay Wade and husband Lloyd of the Roosevelt Community; four grandchildren, Karina Green (Jeff), Denton McDonald (Karen), Michael Wade and Chris McDonald (Pam); one brother, Ralph McAdams (Ruth); two sisters, Onida Lewis, Mary Ruth Woods (Corky); 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. LeRoy was a faithful member of Lifeline Southern Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains where he served as a deacon and a charter member, and a WWII Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 10007. Visitation will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob from 2-4. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with Rev. Tim Altom officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
