John William (Bill) Burrow Sr., age 84, of Benton passed away March 1, 2014. He was born Sept. 16, 1929 in Benton. Bill was a retired Lab Supervisor for Alcoa, a US Army Veteran and a member of Tyndall Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Maynard Burrow and Alice Elizabeth Keene Burrow; daughters, Connie Dyer Baxley, Cathy White Harris; brothers, Robert, Sammie, Clennon, Royce and Rex Burrow; sisters, Mae Perry, Jimmie Hamilton, Mildred Parnell, Marilyn Bodenstedt, Charlene Loucks.
Survivors, wife, Carolyn S. Burrow, Benton; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Carol Burrow, Benton; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Allen Lancaster, Benton, Barbara and Ward Padgett, Malvern; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Dicicco, Benton, Joyce and Weldon Pickens, Lubbock, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.
