Lawrence "Bud" Brotherton Jr., age 75, of Traskwood passed away Saturday March 1, 2014 at his home. He was born June 26, 1938 in Coy, Ark. Lawrence was retired from Alcoa and a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence T. and Cora Lee Combs Brotherton; brother, Billy Brotherton; sisters, Daisy Brotherton, Carmelita Brotherton, Ruthie Brotherton.
Survivors, son, Jason Brotherton; daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Smith, Revonna ( Larry) Erwin; half-brother, Tommy Brotherton; sisters, Rosie Trout, Carrie Pierce; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Traskwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Robert Chapman Jr., Johnathon Smith, Billy Beck, Miles McPherson, Blake Morgan, Michael Morgan, Casey Moreland. Honorary Pallbearers: Larry Erwin, Donald Moreland, Carlos Durden.
