Marie Catherine Beck

Marie Catherine Beck, age 102, of Conway, Ark., formerly of St. Vincent, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born Jan. 23, 1912, in Atkins, Ark., a daughter of Clemons Berkemeyer and Emma Wiedower Berkemeyer. She was the widow of John Martin Beck, and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Caudell of Conway; son, Robert E. Beck of St. Vincent; brother, Ray Berkemeyer of Morrilton; sisters, Louise Sponer of St. Vincent, Rita Rehm, Helen Ward, and Marilyn Riedmueller all of Oppelo, Paula Patton of North Little Rock, and Pat Stout of Morrilton; grandchildren, Donna Latch of North Little Rock, Paula Bruce of Jacksonville, Steve Beck of St. Vincent, Johna Shaw of Little Rock, and Travis Caudell of Conway; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; special friends Frieda Savage, Jim Wooton, and Margaret Martin. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Jim Burnie officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
