Paul Glenn McCutchen

Paul Glenn McCutchen, 85, of Parkin, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home at Togo, Ark. He was born May 10, 1928 at Steele, Mo. to Paul Franklin and Mayme Hudgens McCutchen. A graduate of Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas, Mr. McCutchen was a member of the Parkin United Methodist Church, Parkin Rotary Club, Cross County Quorum Court for many years, and served at the local, state, and national level of the American Soybean Association. Paul was preceded in death by a son, Lex Allen McCutchen; and by his sister, Mary Ella Wells. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jennean Wood McCutchen; daughter, Tommie (Scott) Puryear of Wynne, Ark.; son Glenn (LouAnne) McCutchen of McDonogh, Ga.;; sisters, Jeanne Richeson, Vestavia Hills, Ala.; Glenda (Jack) Ashmore, Blytheville, Ark.; Lynda (Danny)Hucks, DeLand, Fla.; and Teresa McCutchen, Davenport, Fla.; and daughter-in-law Patty McCutchen, Russellville, Ark. He was "Papaul" to five grandchildren: Julie (Matt) Crouch, Paul Glenn (Jordan) McCutchen III; Coy (Molly) Puryear, Thomas (Claudia) McCutchen, and Conner McCutchen; and seven great-grandchildren, Annie and George Crouch, Henley McCutchen, Win and Mac Puryear, and Tacker and Clayton McCutchen. Visitation is Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Parkin United Methodist Church from 12:30–1:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.. Memorials may be sent to Parkin United Methodist Church, P.O.
