Joseph Wayne "Cookie" Gilchrist, 67 of Hot Springs, Ark. passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1946 to Ernestine Shultz Gilchrist and Joe Gilchrist. Wayne retired from Barrett Hamilton, he loved his family and his job. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling; he attended Grace Point Baptist Church in Cordova, Tenn.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock, (501)224-8300. With Graveside service at 1 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Funeral Home.
