Robert F. "Bob" Roberts, age 76, of Benton. Bob was born August 15, 1937 to the late Paul Best and Willie Mae Moore Roberts of Beebe. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Purdy Roberts; three children, Jenny (Michael) Badley, Paul (Lacey) Roberts, and Niki (Harvey) Kilburn of East End; two step-children, Patti (Mark) Bryant and Michael (DeDee) Edmison of Benton; 14 grandchildren, Jake Wilkerson, Heath Wilkerson, Michael Ray Badley, Brad Roberts, Blake Roberts, Hannah Kilburn, Abby Kilburn, Callie Kilburn, Sarah Bryant, Jessa Bryant, Megan Edmison (Aurelio) Gomez, Justin Edmison, Jason Edmison, and Sydney Edmison; great grandchildren, Bradyn Wilkerson, Brycen Wilkerson, and Emily Gomez, as well as many other family members and friends who loved Bob and will miss him always. Bob served in the United States Air Force. He graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College (now UCA) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He retired from Sterling Paint as Technical Director and Vice President after 30 years of service. Bob loved to travel and fish. He spent the majority of his years after retirement fishing at Brady Mountain on Lake Ouachita, spending time with his family and traveling. He was a faithful member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. The family wishes to thank Justin Davis for his years of service and caregiving to Bob. They also thank Myra Baldwin, his caregiver. Reception Visitation is Tuesday, March 11th, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Ark., 72015. Funeral service officiated by Bro. Terry Parrish and Bro. Paul Roberts is Wednesday, March 12th, 2014, 2 p.m. at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery assisted by pallbearers Jake Wilkerson, Heath Wilkerson, Michael Ray Badley, Brad Roberts, Blake Roberts, Justin Edmison, and Jason Edmison. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Melton, Earl Kirk, Julian Moore, Jim Roberts, Jerry Roberts, and Justin Davis.
