Willie Barton

Willie Barton, 78, of Little Rock passed away on March 7, 2014 at Parkway Health. Willie was born on April 24, 1935 in Shelbyville, Texas and retired from the United States Navy as Chief Petty Officer. He then worked for the Veterans Administration in Little Rock from which he retired after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; sons, David and Mark Barton of Little Rock; four sisters and many nieces and nephews; two granddaughters, Ashley Wilmoth and Michelle Williams; grandson, Jeremy Stuart; two great-grandsons, Anthony and Ethen; son-in-law, David Herrick and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Barton. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Wilmoth and his parents. A special thank you to Dr. Claudia Tolleson and all of the caring Staff at Parkway Village for their excellent care of our loved one. Visitation will be this evening, Tuesday, March 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner of I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
