Vera Virginia Hall

Vera Virginia Hall, 88, of Huntsville, Ark., died March 12, 2014 at her home. She was born Nov. 5, 1925 at Springdale, Ark., the daughter of Huel and Ina Patton Smith. She was a homemaker, a member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church, a member of the Madison County Genealogical and Historic Society and a former member and past president of the Huntsville Friendship Club. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rex Smith and Greg Smith. Survivors include: her husband, W Q Hall of the home whom she married on June 1, 1956; two sons, Tim Hall of Springdale, Ark. and Todd Hall of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Cory Scates of Springdale, Ark.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gaylene and Pat Clardy and Myrna and Bill Greenway, all of Springdale, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Elliott of Eloy, Ariz.; two grandsons, Zack Hall of Rogers, Ark. and Mark Hall of Fayetteville, Ark.; and two granddaughters, Elizabeth Jordan Hall of Fayetteville, Ark. and Quincee Scates of Springdale, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Rob Ernest officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Zack Hall, Mark Hall, Blake Clardy, Tom Greenway, Mark Greenway and Randy Greenway. Memorial may be made to The Huntsville Friendship Club, Post Office Box 762, Huntsville, Ark. 72740-0762.
