GLENDA "FAYE" MASSIE, 64, of Little Rock eased into glory Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born March 7, 1950 in Camden, Ark. to the late Henry Lee and Vera Johnson Massie. Upon graduating as salutatorian from Lincoln High School in Camden, she attended Southern State College, now Southern Arkansas University. She then moved to California where she resided for 25 years. She worked for the Northrop Corporation, and she served as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship. After returning to Arkansas, Faye worked as an accountant for the city of Little Rock, the State of Arkansas, and University of Arkansas. She was a long-standing member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in the Sunday School Department. Faye also served her Lord in Bible Study Fellowship for 20 years as a group leader and substitute teaching leader. Faye was a virtuous woman and a loving sister. She dearly loved spending time with her friends and watching HGTV and classic movies. She loved reading, studying, and sharing God's word. Those preceding her in death include her parents; and one brother, David Lee Hunter. Many remain to cherish her memory: a sister, Lillie Mae Kendricks (Leotis) of Camden; four brothers, Jerry Massie (Yvonne), Lee A. Hunter, Leon Hunter, and Henry Lee Massie Jr. (Rosa); a sister-in-law, Marsha Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, 12400 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72210, Phone: 501-455-3474. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Camden.
