Norma D. Davis

Norma D. Davis, 89, of Roland passed away March 16, 2014 at the Hickory Heights Rehab Center in Little Rock. She was born in Glenwood, Ark. February 3, 1925. She moved to California where she met and married Lee E. Davis Jr. of Cotton Plant, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lee E. Davis Jr.; her dad and mom, Jasper R. and Minnie L. Lawless; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Jo and Jim Jacobs; and sister-in-law ,Geri Lawless. She is survived by her two daughters, Regena L. Colding and her husband, Leon, of Roland and Merith A. Cole and her husband, Ed, of Clyde, Texas; one son, Kenneth W. Davis and his wife, Linda, of Murrieta, Calif.; one brother, Bob Lawless, of San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren: Charles R. Moore Jr., Justin Wantoch, Jared Wantoch, Natalie Welte, Julia Keeney, Jay Cole, and Emily Cole; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends: (Aunt) Elizabeth Macklin, Regina Spence, Mia Jefferson, and Dorothy Romes. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ in San Diego, Calif. and the Church of Christ in Little Rock at Taylor Loop, an active member of Camp Aldersgate, and of Patrick Henry Hays Senior Citizen Center of North Little Rock where she met and leaves many friends. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, Phone: 501-224-8300. Interment will be at LaVista Memorial Park in National City, Calif. at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
