Rocky Denison

Rocky Brooks Denison, 61, Benton, passed away on March 16, 2014. He was born on January 7, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas. He graduated from UALR in 1986 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. He retired from the VA Hospital in February 2013, where he was a RN and member of the Emergency Medical Response Team. He also served as a constable of Saline County and volunteer fireman in Salem. Rocky was an avid guitar and harmonica player. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of the CAC Harley Owners Group. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was also an amateur radio operator call sign W5ROC. Rocky was preceded in death by his parents Cris and Charles Denison and brother, Ricky. He is survived by his wife Kathy and children Ashley, Brook Metzler, and Houston Metzler, brother, Randy, sister, Robbie King (Roger), seven nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be held March 19th from 5-7 p.m. and a memorial service will be held march 20th at 2 p.m. Both at Ashby funeral home in Benton.
