Edwin Earl Kinder

Edwin Earl Kinder, 86, of Aberdeen, formerly of Stuttgart, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. He was a retired farmer, member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ulm and an Air Force veteran. Earl was born August 26, 1927, the oldest son of eight children born to Earl Snell Kinder and Earnestine Odom Kinder. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Lottie Kinder, Vera Kinder Leder, Louise Kinder Vance Mordecai and Helen Kinder Doyle Hall. He is survived by three daughters, Patti Kinder Capps (Pete) of Altheimer, Tammy Kinder Hannahs of Bryant and Diann Kinder Stephens (Boone) of Almyra; one brother, Lynn Kinder of Michigan, North Dakota; two sisters, Earlene Kinder Harris of Russellville, Arkansas, and Donna Kinder Cooper of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren, Dustin Capps of Altheimer, Zach Hannahs of Bryant, Paige Hannahs of Fayetteville, Paul Maxwell of Heber Springs and Alana Stephens of Georgia; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home with graveside services, officiated by Freddie Leder, at 2:30 p.m. at Lone Tree Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Angie Duncan of Aberdeen who helped care for him for the last seven months. She treated Earl with kindness, love and gentleness.
